Working principle

After the ore slurry flows into the tank through the feed box, the ore particles enter the feed area of the tank in a loose state under the action of the water flow from the feed jet pipe. The "magnetic clusters" or "magnetic chains" are attracted to the cylinder by the magnetic force in the slurry and move towards the magnetic poles. As the polarity of the magnetic poles are alternately arranged along the direction of rotation of the cylinder and are fixed during operation, the "magnetic clusters" or "magnetic chain", when rotating with the cylinder, produces magnetic agitation due to the alternating magnetic poles and is entrapped in the " The non-magnetic minerals such as pebbles in the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic chain" are dislodged in the turning, and the "magnetic cluster " or "magnetic chain" that is finally sucked on the surface of the cylinder is the concentrate. The concentrate is transferred with the cylinder to the edge of the magnetic system where the magnetic force is weak and is discharged into the concentrate tank by the rinsing water jet from the discharge hose. The non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry and discharged out of the tank with the slurry, that is the tailings.
