Flotation machines are mainly used to sort gold, silver, copper, iron, lead, zinc, molybdenum, nickel, aluminum and other metal minerals. It can also be used for the separation of ferrous metals and non-metals. The flotation machine is driven by an electric motor v-belt drive to rotate the impeller, which generates a negative pressure to form a negative pressure on the one hand to inhale sufficient air to mix with the pulp, on the other hand to agitate the pulp into a drug mixture, while refining the foam, so that minerals bonded above the foam, floating to the surface of the pulp and then forming mineralized foam. The height of the gate is adjusted to control the liquid level, so that the useful foam is scraped out by the scraper.

Working principle

The flotation machine is driven by an motor v-belt drive to rotate the impeller, generating centrifugal effect to form negative pressure, on the one hand, inhaling sufficient air to mix with the pulp, on the other hand, stirring the pulp to mix with drugs, while refining the foam, so that minerals bond above the foam and float to the surface of the pulp to form mineralized foam again. The height of the gate is adjusted to control the liquid level, so that the useful foam is scraped out by the scraper. When the flotation machine is working, with the rotation of the impeller, the pulp in the tank is sucked from the bottom of the tank to between the impeller blades, at the same time, the low-pressure air given in by the blower enters it through the hollow shaft and the air distributor of the impeller. After the slurry and air are fully mixed between the blades, they are pushed out obliquely from the upper perimeter of the impeller and are stabilized and oriented by the stator before entering the entire trough. The air bubbles rise to the bubble stabilization zone and, after an enrichment process, the bubbles overflow from the overflow weir and enter the bubble tank. The remaining slurry flows to the next trough until it finally becomes tailings.
