Formosa 2 OWF in Taiwan
introduction
The Formosa 2 OWF is a Taiwanese OWF located in the straits between mainland China and Taiwan, off the coast of Zhunan & Houlong in the Miaoli County.
The Formosa 2 OWF is on the seaward side of the Formosa 1 project and consists of two (2) licensed areas awarded by the Taiwanese Bureau of Energy (BoE). The size of the combined area is approximately 68.8 km2 with a maximum installed capacity of 378MW.
