A Tunnel Boring Machine is one of the construction machinery, used to excavate the tunnels to full section, while collaborating in the laying of shoring for the tunnel support if this is necessary, either provisionally or definitively.Excavation is normally carried out by means of a rotating head equipped with cutting elements and driven by hydraulic motors. The push necessary to advance is achieved by a system of perimeter jack that leans on the last support ring placed on mobile shoes, called grippers, driven by pushing them against the wall of the tunnel.Behind the excavation and advancement equipment is the back-up equipment of the tunnel boring machine, consisting of a series of platforms carried by the machine itself and often rolling on rails that the same tunneling machine places, where all the equipment transformers, of ventilation, mortar deposits and the system of evacuation.There are different kinds of TBM, including EPB Shield, Single Shield TBM, Double Shield TBM, Mix shield TBM, UniSite can supply kinds of steel parts of TMB
